Our tour guide was very sweet, full of information on everything in the museum. The buildings were really cool to go in and kind of step back in time. The tour ran over a half hour past their closing time, but she finished the tour with us anyway.

But the buildings were all secured with locks, so I think it might be an issue of theft/protection.

We had a great time. The tour guide was wonderful. If you like history you'll like this museum.

I was worried about going since a previous review stated they're only open on Weds. Not true, they're open Thu-Sat from 9a-12p. Check the website.

Great fall festival. Was impressed, kids had a great time, food was good. Looking forward to next year.

This place gives me LIFE! There was a lady Ms Betty that used to run it she kept that place up and looking in tip top condition. So neat to see all these old businesses and homes the way they originally would have been. Love going here every year. A must visit

I've been to a few museums like this, and this is the only one that didn't let us walk around at our own pace and explore both inside and outside of the buildings, so that was disappointing & the reason for 4 stars.

Overall I think it's a really fun place to stop and visit, especially if you've never been to a museum like this before. Great for first timers!

Admission is $5 per person for a guided tour if you want to be able to go inside any of the buildings. If you don't want a guided tour you'll only be able to walk around the outside of the buildings.

The museum is quite large, but don't reply on review photos for an accurate representation, you have to see it in person. Photos don't do it justice.
