This is a great restaurant. The food is always good. The servers are friendly and sweet, and they check on you often to see if you need anything. My husband and I have been going here for years and we will keep going back.
The food is so great.... But don't forget desert, there fried pies, cakes But most of all there ICE CREAM is wonderful.
I've had food poisoning from this place more than I'd like to admit. Unfortunately, since there are only two other restaurants in this small town that aren't much better, I've been back despite this. My last visit I had chicken strips with French fries. I ate my meal at 8:45, it's now 6:58am I've probably slept a total of three hours and I've spent my entire night fighting the urge to vomit as strongly as possibly with little success. Every single time I have gotten sick at has been from their chicken, once from the chicken fried steak. I'm talking vomiting and diarrhea accompanied with extremely uncomfortable stomach cramps. Not fun!
I moved back to the area after 30 yrs of city life. I remember coming here when it was an actual lumber yard. Now they are serving up some really great food. I've had several things on the menu and very pleased with the service and the quality of the food. I decided to try the Rueben on my last visit and it was delicious! If you are in the area it's a definite stop for a good meal.
Yummy home-cooked meals! One of the local antique shops sent us there. We always make a point to eat there when we are in the area for canton. Worth the trip!❤
